FINNISH SHORTHAND ASSOCIATION CELEBRATED ITS 125-YEAR-LONG HISTORY

The ceremonies in the Great Committee of the Parliament

The meeting was held in the great committee of the Parliament.

The speech was held by Jari Niittuinperä, president of the association. The subject of the speech was "Finnish Shorthand Association and the Parliament".


 
Welcoming address was held by Seppo Tiitinen, general secretary of the Parliament. The subject of the speech was "Value of Shorthand for the Parliament".

 

Main speech was held by Anna-Liisa Valta, the vice president of the association. The subject of the speech was "Finnish Shorthand Association 125 years old".

Tiina Leino and Esko Latvamaa were given badges of honor. The badges were handed over by Anna-Liisa Valta and Jari Niittuinperä.

 

Veikko Sorsa was named as a new honorary president.

 

The meeting was followed by Unto Räty, the first honorary president of the association.
